Today’s assignment: follow five new topics in the Reader and five new blogs.

Its hard to just ‘follow five new topics’. I read A LOT from the reader. So, rather than just pick single topics, I am going to list those people I ALWAYS look out for because they always have wonderful topics, are amusing, interesting, insightful or, in one certain case, I have ‘Annie Wilkes’ syndrome for. >_>

This is in no particular order…

August MacGregor – https://augustmacgregor.wordpress.com/
blondeusk – https://blondewritemore.wordpress.com/
Opinionated Man – http://aopinionatedman.com/
Corina – https://corinajoyc.wordpress.com/

If you want to read quality stuff, and aren’t familiar with them, check them out.

Now, to the next part of the assignment, I had to do a little searching. I chose the following because they shared my interests, or were educational for someone like me. I added the following blogs to my lineup this evening.

https://chippyreader.wordpress.com/
http://naomibaltuck.wordpress.com/about/

I like to reblog posts that interest me, and that I find others might like. I also comment a lot. I am trying to be as ‘hands-on’ as possible.

I think I earned an ‘A’ for tonights assignment.

I think we need to keep in mind that these assignments seem geared toward someone who is COMPLETELY NEW. I’m not completely new, and many who I know that are taking part in this endeavor arent either, having had their WP blogs for a bit now. I think we have to be more creative in finding ways to complete the assignments given while still sticking to the theme of them.

So for us…I say YAY!!!

I agree…these assignments are definitely for the ultra newbies. I kind of cringed when I first read this assignment because I’m at the point where I really only want to follow blogs if I’m genuinely interested in them…I, too, read A LOT from the reader and it’s starting to take up so much time as I follow more and more blogs, so I’m trying to cut back on following right now and five new blogs is a lot!

I think we should just do the best with what they offer us…so we bend the rules a little. I’M A REBEL!!! ~shakes a mighty fist~ But yeah, we just have to do a little tweaking (not twirking) to make the assignments work for us. Hey, its all part of being creative!

Exactly! I’m not sure if I’ll post today for Blogging 101, but I have been browsing around on The Commons and finding new blogs, so I think I’ve been doing an adequate job. Not really A-worthy, but I’m putting in some effort!
